A charming French porcelain commemorative plate from the prestigious Limoges maker Henriot d'Arceau, hand-painted with a fashionable 1940s woman in Christian Dior's iconic New Look silhouette. The obverse features a stylized portrait in soft watercolors—white coat with dramatic black trim, burgundy pleated skirt, coral hat—set in a garden scene with period spectators and flowering hedges. The reverse bears the maker's mark, original subscription number 526, assiance number BO 733, and hand-signed French text by F. Ganeau describing the New Look's revolutionary impact on post-war feminine fashion. Part of the "Les Femmes du Siècle" (Women of the Century) collection, issued as a limited first edition with Certificate of Authenticity (included, signed by Director).
