Gone With the Wind Golden Anniversary Collector Plate — "Melanie and Ashley," Howard Rogers, W.S. George 1989, with Box & COA

The tenth issue in the Gone With the Wind: Golden Anniversary Series — Howard Rogers' painting of Melanie on the staircase in a deep navy dress with a white lace collar, one gloved hand on the banister, Ashley behind her in a lavender waistcoat. A quieter, warmer scene than most of the series, and the one for anyone who was always more of a Melanie than a Scarlett. Fine china with a gold rim and Rogers' signature in red across the face. Officially authorized by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Turner Entertainment to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the film, and strictly limited to a maximum of 150 firing days.

Includes: the original box, the numbered Certificate of Authenticity, and the illustrated title card

Measurements: 8.5 in round. Boxed 10.25 in x 10.25 in x 2 in.

Condition: Excellent. Colors bright, gold rim unworn, no chips or cracks, and the plain white reverse is clean. The original box shows its age, with toning and softly worn corners. Sold as found — please see all photos.
