The seventh issue in the Gone With the Wind: Golden Anniversary Series — Howard Rogers' painting of Scarlett in the sapphire blue coat with white fur trim and a lace bonnet, held by Ashley in the lumber office, ledgers and papers pinned to the wall behind them. One of the more charged scenes in the film and one of the richest colour compositions in the series. Fine china with a gold rim and Rogers' signature across the face. Officially authorized by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Turner Entertainment to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the film, and strictly limited to a maximum of 150 firing days.
Includes: the original box, the numbered Certificate of Authenticity, and the illustrated title card
Measurements: 8.5 in round. Boxed 10.25 in x 10.25 in x 2 in.
Condition: The plate is excellent — colors bright, gold rim unworn, no chips or cracks, and the plain white reverse is clean. The original box is the tired part: brown foxing spots across the lid and wear along one edge. Sold as found — please see all photos.
